Barbara - Ahimsa
I am an anthropologist and hold a PhD in human geography. I lived and worked for extended periods in Nepal, Romania, Nicaragua, and El Salvador where I worked with young people living on the streets and youth gangs.
These experiences abroad made me aware of the beauty of diversity and grateful for our human capacity to embrace and honour life, love, and death in so many precious ways.
At a young age, I started practicing Vipassana meditation in the Buddhist tradition taught by SN Goenka.
It brought me awareness, inner strength, and the ability to remain grounded and present in any situation.
Later, I came home on the path of Buddhist tantra. This path brought me love, beauty, balance and a renewed connection with the great mystery of life and death
In recent years, I have travelled many times to Peru to learn from the ancestral wisdom of the Andean traditions.
I share from my insights and experiences, my heart, my soul, and my own life path. My style is grounded, loving, and humorous.
