Ancestral (plant) wisdom

The mystical path of Tantra deeply connects to other mystical traditions such as Sufism and the Ancestral traditions of the Andean Region. In the Andean tradition Nature is the greatest teacher. She teaches us the art of living and dying. When we lose the connection with nature we lose the connection with ourselves and the world becomes a though place to live. This ancestral wisdom contains a vast body of teachings, insights, rituals, practices, and ceremonies that help us to connect, to heal and to balance.

Nature gifted us with precious plant medicines for us to live well and raise our awareness. First of all it offers us our food, fruits, vegetables, …as important daily medicine for our body and soul. Furthermore, it gifted us plants that help us center, heal, and find clarity.

During our retreats we occasionally work with mild medicine plants. The use of these plants are never an end in itself. They are used with a clear intention and as a support for you to sink deeper into the practices and meditations. We use small doses. All meditations and practices can be done without the support of any plant medicine.
