Tantra

Tantra is an ancient mystical tradition that originated in the Himalayas and was written down in Sanskrit scriptures called Tantras.

The Tantric view of life is  a path to greater awareness, wisdom, loving kindness, and freedom.

Tantra means ‘wisdom (tan) that saves (tra)’ and can be loosely translated as ‘weaving’ or ‘connecting’.

Through meditation and ritual, you connect more deeply with yourself. You become more intimate with your own mind, body and emotions. You remember your essence.

From there, through meditations and embodied practices, you learn to connect with others in a more authentic and fulfilling way.

In tantric meditations, you also always connect with  the great mystery of life and death, the source of all-encompassing love.

Tantric practices bring you out of your busy head, back your body and embodied wisdom. It brings you back to direct experience and reality. It brings you insight, balance and peace.

In tantra, sexual energy is creative life force. Tantra leads to more fulfilling (sexual) relationships but is no to be reduced to sex. The ceremonies that I offer are not sexual. They are about loving kindness, authenticity, consciousness, and wisdom.

Tantra is not a philosophy, an ideology, a sect or a theoretical doctrine.  Tantric wisdom  is  transmitted through meditations, rituals, and practices and brings  freedom, choice and (self) responsibility.
